The first time I had seen the product of Patrick’s Photography was in my friend’s wedding, and I told myself that they have to be my big day photography too in future.
Two years later, the date of my wedding confirmed and I remembered what I have been looking forward. I had confirmed Patrick without any meeting and of coz they were best item of my wedding I had found-Patrick’s Photography.

To my pleasant surprise, Patrick Law, our photographer on the wedding day, is a Christian and he was concerned about us even before the long day started! Being an artistically talented photographer, his professionalism and passion for photos is apparent from every photo he had taken. Although it has now been a few months apart from my wedding day last year, his vivid photos brought me back in time and I can visualise the laughers, tears and heartfelt warmth we shared on the day. Finding our perfect wedding day photographer was one of the most important parts of our wedding planning. When we viewed Patrick’s portfolio, we knew he was the one. Patrick’s style is simple yet classy. Patrick was our photographer for our pre-wedding shooting in February and wedding day in June 2014. We knew him through seeing his photos of a friend on Facebook and the website. His photos impressed us a lot because he is able to catch the natural and true beauty of the hosts. After meeting him once, we decided to invite him as our photographer for the two important shooting days in our life. Showing his enthusiasm and professionalism, Patrick was so eager to learn about our background and characters so as to decide the shooting venues together.
He arranged rental of nice wedding gowns and tuxedo, dedicated make-up artist and transport for us on the shooting day . He was so capable of leading us to make comfortable poses and give cheerful faces! We enjoyed a lot during the whole shooting process without nervousness but only laughter. His assistant and make-up artist were helpful and nice so we were fully relaxed. Patrick’s work was efficient that our pre-wedding photos were ready within a month, so we could prepare the album and canvas. Without extra editing or artificial work, we looked naturally beautiful and joyful in the pre-wedding photos, showing our excitement of our marriage!
Before the wedding day, Patrick met us for going through the rundown. As time was rather tight on our big day, he comforted us a lot saying that his crew could help control the time for us. On our big day, Patrick and his crew arrived earlier to have good preparation on lighting and everything. Not only did he take good photos of us, but our relatives and friends were captured well. They liked Patrick’s work too.

As we started planning our wedding, we went through a lot of photographer websites and looked at their portfolio before landing to Patrick’s website. We found a lot of photographers, but they were just not our style – some were too cold, some were unnatural. When we landed on Patrick’s website, we knew that he is the perfect photographer for us! We loved how Patrick photoshoot-ed for pre-wedding and big days for his other clients, the color tone, the angle, the poses, they are all very natural, warm and sweet, which is what we were aiming for our own big day!
We had the opportunity to have Patrick worked on both our pre-wedding and wedding day, and his team was very professional and helpful to us. We were used to posing in front of the camera, but Patrick would guide us what to pose such that we can look natural. When the output is ready, they turned out exactly as we expected – natural, warm and sweet. We had a hard time picking the favorites for our photo albums! We can also feel Patrick’s passion for taking photos, and not just trying to finish a job. He has a sense of perfection which also reflects on his works.

We are very happy that Patrick is our engagement photographer. We lived aboard and have painfully browsed through many HK photographers online. Patrick was our first choice – we wanted photos that are natural and timeless (no heavy photoshopping!), thoughtfully capture emotions and display technical skills. We also wanted to have a balanced mix of scenery pictures to showcase the traditional elements of HK that we are fond of. I m glad to have come across Patrick! We exchanged a few emails, phone conversations and had a face to face meeting to plan the theme and logistics of the day.
Patrick was very patient and listened to our needs. He understood our vision quickly, and his photos clearly exceeded our expectations. They will make an excellent addition the our wedding album – I can’t help looking at the photos again and again!
