Did any of you notice that the sunshine was particularly lovely this summer? Although this meant that we would all be hot and sweaty during the photoshoot, I have always enjoyed taking pictures under good weather because pictures naturally look nicer under beautiful and natural sunlight.
Anna and Anthony requested me to help them take their pre-wedding pictures, and also asked me to be the photographer at their wedding in January next year. I could see that they placed a lot of faith in me, as they trusted me enough to let me pick the venue for their photoshoot since they did not have any particular preferences. I considered locations that I have always loved, and decided on Cyberport, where there was a huge field of grass and not a lot of people, so that the couple could easily engage themselves in the process in the comfortable and natural environment.
Another location I picked was Inspiration Lake, which, like the name suggests, gave me lots of inspiration! I had no idea that it has become such a popular place for wedding shoots, and there were more than 10 couples getting their pictures taken that day as well. But that was not a problem, as Anna and Anthony still had a wonderful time taking beautiful pictures on this lovely day. Sometimes I would use every effort to capture the one perfect picture no matter how bizarre it seems, and this time is no different. I saw a tree with huge, beautiful roots and I climbed up the tree to capture the couple lying below. Sometimes, it is important to see things at different angles even if you are looking at the same object or in the same environment because, who knows, you might end up with a surprise!

Sometimes it’s not the sunshine, but the shadows it creates that makes the picture interesting
It is always a heartwarming scene to see a couple ready to spend the rest of their lives together
