It was a delight to reconnect with Margaret and Joshua for a memorable autumn family photoshoot at Dyrham Park, set against the vibrant backdrop of the British countryside. This lovely couple, whose wedding I had the privilege of photographing back in 2016, reached out to me after relocating to the UK, and I was so touched that they remembered me after all these years. With two beautiful children now, it was a joy to see how their family has grown, and I felt honored to help capture this chapter of their lives together.
We were blessed with one of those rare sunny afternoons that adds a magical warmth to the fall season. Surrounded by a rich tapestry of oranges, reds, and yellows, Dyrham Park offered the perfect setting to celebrate the season and their growing family. With over 100 varieties of trees, the park’s landscape transforms each fall into a breathtaking display. Our afternoon was spent exploring historical gardens, where the kids loved playing on the soft lawns, and each scene felt like it belonged in a storybook.
After capturing some candid shots, we ventured to Fountain Court, a charming courtyard garden laid out as a 17th-century herb garden, filled with wall-trained fruit trees and aromatic herbs. This setting truly brought an old-world charm to the shoot and allowed us to create timeless images that Margaret and Joshua can treasure for years to come.
We wrapped up with a cozy afternoon tea, where we caught up on their life in the UK and how wonderfully they’ve settled into this new chapter. Reflecting on the day, I felt grateful not only for the chance to document these precious family moments but also for the bond that continues to connect us.
Cherishing sweet moments with this lovely family at Dyrham Park – capturing memories that last a lifetime.
