I have photographed many weddings over the years but with every new client, I am constantly finding refreshing details that make a wedding so “special”.
Held in the stylish, contemporary Chinese restaurant, Madame Fú, Shirley and Richard’s wedding was intimate yet bursting with a glowing warmth and love from family and friends that gathered for their big day.
What struck me about their wedding was how “homely” it’d felt. Between the modern ambience and the natural light flooding the room, the guests all seemed very comfortable amongst the green drapes and orange and pink flowers. The flower girls, especially, looked like they were in their element and enjoying themselves throughout the events of the day. The relaxed and joyous atmosphere at Shirley and Richard’s wedding is what I wanted to capture in this series of images.
