Hosting a wedding during the Covid-19 outbreak is undoubtedly a challenging task. The ongoing pandemic has brought on many mounting stresses. Yet Elmo and Terry were determined to go ahead and make the monumental event in their lives as special as possible. After much consideration, the lovely couple opted for a simple yet elegant wedding at the Grand Hyatt Hotel’s Pool House venue. It was a choice that would put the couple and their guests at ease during the big event, momentarily transporting them to a worry-free haven for a true celebration of Elmo and Terry’s love for one another.
Elmo and Terry’s wedding in its entirety—from the ceremony to the banquet—was held in the Grand Hyatt Hotel’s Pool House. As a wedding photographer, I frequent the Grand Hyatt Hotel located in Wan Chai for my job. The venue is, as advertised, highly versatile, making it the perfect space for weddings. Its large glass panels provide floods of daylight during the day and lovely reflections from the pool during the night. These attributes suitably created a naturalistic atmosphere and ambience for the lovebirds’ wedding day.
The beautiful couple’s guests were primarily made up of close friends and family. It was, therefore, essential to capture the candid emotions of compassion and joy in the bride and groom’s interactions with others. Capturing the fine details at weddings and transforming them into unforgettable moments has always been the trademark of my craft as a wedding photographer. Everything from the classy décor to the flash of a smile between friends—these are the elements crucial to Elmo and Terry’s wedding story.
It was a delight to help the newlyweds remember their special day. Elmo and Terry’s wedding was graceful, dazzling and full of joy.
