As a wedding photographer, I am always curious to know something more about the couple, about how they met in the first place, how their initial romantic encounters developed into marital commitments, their individual personalities or preferences.
Dennis is originally from Australia, where he met Bryoni at university and started their romance. Dennis’s groomsmen were therefore all from Australia, each with a big and buoyant personality, making the entire wedding very fun and happy. I aimed to capture all these moments, so that the final photo album could serve as a distinctive window into the couple’s individual life and particular way of interaction with their friends and family members, as opposed to something generic that could easily belong to anyone.
I was especially touched by the speech given by the couple during the wedding banquet. They frankly detailed their past, the many difficulties they had encountered before they finally became a couple, their mutual promises for the future, and their holy experience with God. Even as an observer witnessing their wedding on the day, I could easily feel the genuine, powerful love that Dennis and Bryoni hold for each other.
