Queenie . San’s Wedding@Beas River Country Club

Queenie and San’s Wedding was one of my favourites last year, I can’t wait to share it with all of you! Not only was it held at a remarkable location-Beas River Country Club, the beautiful weather and most importantly, the stunning bride, all made it an amazing event to remember!

Queenie is from Hong Kong while San is from Thailand. What inspires me most about cross-cultural relationships is how couples really make an effort to communicate with each other despite their different first languages and how they try their best to understand and respect each other’s cultures. One interesting thing I remember from this wedding is how San tries to speak Cantonese even though it isn’t the most fluent. They also greatly respect each other’s traditions and will be having another wedding ceremony in Thailand after this one in Hong Kong.

The daytime ceremony as well as the wedding banquet at night were both held at Beas River Country Club. The beautiful green fields together with the warm sunshine gave the atmosphere at the ceremony a comfortable, heart-warming touch. All of the guests as well as our crew really enjoyed ourselves and we naturally took many pictures!

Some couples find it frustrating to think of activities during the wedding banquet – What games would people like? What gifts should we get for lucky draws? For me, I believe that a wedding is not a game show, and the focus should not be on the activities, but the people who love and care about each other. Queenie and San’s friends put on a great performance on stage, which was certainly fun and memorable. San also gave a touching speech that made everyone smile from the bottom of their hearts. At the end of the night, the newlyweds and the guests danced happily on the grass, and the cheerful atmosphere marked a lovely end to a beautiful wedding day.

I realized that nowadays, couples can really tell what approach each photographer takes in their photo: whether the photographer is the kind who asks the couple to pose to create a scene, or the kind who asks the couple to act naturally and let the scene speak for itself. I am a firm believer of the latter, as I believe the photojournalism approach truly captures the atmosphere of a moment, and allows you to relive the moment when you look back at the pictures many years later.

Now, let’s enjoy some pictures from Queenie and San’s gorgeous wedding!

Review

We are extremely pleased with both Patrick’s final productions and our time spent together. Patrick’s work is professional and very beautiful. He and his team were spot on to capture the most natural and beautiful moments of our wedding.

We chose Patrick to be our wedding photographer because we really liked his photojournalistic style. Patrick is a soft-spoken and sweet gentleman. He and his team were very polite and nice, which made the whole day go smoothly.

Looking at the photos brought back many good memories of the wedding day. The wedding same-day edit video was also amazing. All our friends and family agreed that it was professional like a TV commercial. It was hard to believe that the video was completed in only a few hours’ time! On the whole, we were very happy with Patrick’s services. We highly recommend Patrick for your wedding.
