This is actually the second time I’ve had the opportunity to witness Astrid and KK’s wedding as I was their photographer at their wedding ceremony held at the church last year. Things were much simpler this time as they had already completed all the wedding formalities, giving them more time to relax and enjoy their wedding day.
Their wedding was held at a hotel this time, and KK picked his lovely bride up in the morning from her hotel room. It was a relaxing day as there was no rush and I started capturing their big day from the morning onwards. In the afternoon we also had spare time to slowly take some pictures at the hotel. For me, I believe that wedding pictures should consist of different elements, such as wedding portraits as well as candid pictures captured in a photojournalistic way. The grand and elegant feel of the wedding should also be portrayed in the photos. This way, the couples can relive every moment of their wedding as they look through their pictures in years to come.
