A highlight of my year was in April when we went to Kyoto(京都) with a few couples for their pre-wedding shoot. We were so lucky that our trip coincided with the season where the sakura was in full bloom!
Karry and Fai were one of the couples that joined us on the trip. We went to many lovely places for their pre-wedding shoot, such as 嵐山. The sakura was in full bloom at 嵐山, and there weren’t many people there in the morning, making it a beautiful, relaxing location for a romantic pre-wedding shoot.
Apart from visiting the beautiful sakura, we also took pictures in an ancient town that was filled with Japanese history and culture. Even the most unimportant things such as the streets or food carts can be interesting backgrounds for pre-wedding pictures.
In fact, I believe that for couples who wish to have their pre-wedding photos taken overseas should not only visit the places they have already decided, but also walk around to see if there’s anything culturally interesting to them. This way, the couples can feel more involved in the shoot and have a more relaxing, enjoyable experience.
