The focus of most of my pictures is the feeling they convey – a warm, comfortable vibe that just comes naturally. To achieve this, I like to make good use of the available lighting at the location to capture the atmosphere at the special moments.
Sometimes, there is no need to place a lot of time in effort in creating lighting for a picture. In this picture, we see Amanda, a beautiful and elegant bride casually sitting. This picture was actually taken just by having Amanda sit by the window. This way, simply the natural light from the open window brings dimension to the picture and shows the intricate details of the wedding gown. Therefore, I definitely think that one of the most important photographic techniques is capturing the best light.
Going back to Amanda and Derek’s wedding, the whole process which took place from morning to night was entirely done in the hotel. This saves a lot of time that is normally spent on transportation, giving this happy couple the chance to take their time and enjoy their special day. As you can see from the pictures, beautiful pictures can be taken at a hotel(Hyatt Regency K11) alone!
