Unlike many couples who prefer fancy and extravagant weddings, Pella and Ken opted for a simple ceremony. Although they didn’t go through the tradition of fetching the bride, this decision gave them the time in the morning to enjoy a relaxing photo shoot with each other, which means a lot to this pair of newlyweds.
Sometimes weddings do not need to be overcomplicated. One of the best things about having a simple wedding is that there is no strict rundown to follow, meaning the couple would be able to fully enjoy every moment of their big day without worrying about following a tight schedule.
As simple as their big day was, they arranged the signing of their marriage certificates at the beautiful Shangri-La Hotel, one of the locations that I often take wedding photos at. One of my favourite things about this hotel is that the location allows me to take pictures from a top view, making it easier for me to capture the whole environment and atmosphere of this beautiful location. Even though I’ve always enjoyed photographing weddings from above when I come to Shangri-La, as a photographer, it is my passion to discover new angles to bring out the beauty of the place from different points of view. I’m proud to say that I have accomplished this on Pella and Ken’s big day!
