Recently, I took some beautiful post-wedding pictures for Bonnie and Nelson. Yes, you heard me right. It’s post-wedding pictures, not pre-wedding pictures! This was a really special moment for them because they got married over 10 years ago, but they only had a simple wedding and did not have the chance to take wedding pictures back then. Now, 10 years later, they’ve decided to put on their wedding gowns and tuxedoes again and fulfilled the dream they’ve always wished for. This happy couple also has two children, and their lovely daughter took part in the shoot too!
This whole process was especially memorable for me because of the beautiful meaning behind it. It is common to see newlyweds making vows during weddings, promising to love and cherish each other for life. Yet, it is not guaranteed that such commitments will last forever. What touched my heart the most during this post-wedding shoot is how Bonnie and Nelson are clearly still fully devoted to each other and are still keeping their love alive, even after 10 years. This is the beauty of marriage, the bond of two people whose commitment outlasts the test of time. Bonnie and Nelson are a perfect example of this, and I congratulate them for the beautiful years of their marriage, and the many more to come!
Shooting location: HULLETT HOUSE HOTEL, 香港三育書院
