Gloria . Lawrence’s Wedding – Brides over Grooms?

Wedding ceremonies could be overwhelming as there are always so many things going on at the same time, and everyone has a different interpretation of what is the most important thing in the wedding. Some may go for the cake, some may be drawn by the beautiful decorations, some may find the crowds the most interesting, but as a wedding photographer, my focus is always on the bride. Of course, the groom is also equally handsome and important on the big day. However, the bride has always been the symbol of weddings, from the extravagant wedding gowns with their beautiful long trains, to the effort they always put into the biggest day of their lives. Therefore, I always remind myself to try my best to photograph the happenings around the bride, and capture her most gorgeous side, as a woman, like they say, always looks the most beautiful on her wedding day.

Ceremony: St Teresa Church, Wedding Reception: Sheraton Hotel Hong Kong

This is one of my favourite pictures because the timing was really important as the snowing effect prepared by the hotel ended very quickly. The angle of the picture also helped capture the entire scene including the guests, the fake snow and, of course, the romantic kiss of the couple. I am so glad that my team and I managed to capture this spectacular moment!
