If you have been reading my blog for some time, you should be able to see that I am particularly into capturing simple scenes and objects. However, simplicity does not mean emptiness, and there is always meaning behind my pictures.
Take a look at Marie and Vincent’s wedding – they prefer their pictures to look natural instead of staged and manipulated. This is why I would never act like a director asking the bridesmaids to pose in a certain way to achieve a desired effect, because that would not be real, and the beauty of photography is capturing what is natural and real. I always take pictures in accordance with the flow of the wedding and apply my own techniques to capture the simplest and yet most elegant pictures – this is my philosophy in being a photographer, as I believe this will keep the photos looking timeless throughout the years.
