Nice to have a pre-wedding shooting trip in Kyoto 京都 with Yiu & Ben. Ben found my oversea pre-wedding schedule to Kyoto from my website and decide to join me for photo. We first met a week right before the trip and talk about what they expected for their pre-wedding photo. To take pre-wedding photo overseas, there should be a most important element: to enjoy the trip with photos and make yourself relaxed. As stress will show on photos, so it’d better to be yourself and enjoy!
One don’t need to post hardly, just relaxed and let photographer (i.e. me!) do the rest. It’s a self-drive trip, and I enjoy the driving and photo taking with Yiu and Ben in Kyoto 京都. We first worried that it’s a peak session in Kyoto 京都 and the traffic will be heavy. Luckily, the traffic is fine and it only takes around half an hour to move from one spot to another. The autumn of Kyoto 京都 was cold, and the day-time temperature was around 10C. Just after we started the shooting, it rained and even colder. The bride was in wedding gown that was too cold for photos. Great that there’s a small tea stall closed to us. The owner not only invited us to get in for shelter, but also provided us hot coffee. We had taken some photos with this Japanese- style tea stall.
For couples who plan to take maple leaves in Kyoto 京都, Japanese official website has the weather forecast for the Maple leaves which is pretty accurate. You may want to have a look on the website: http://kouyou.nihon-kankou.or.
Last thing bear in mind, all temples in Kyoto 京都 prohibited photo-shooting in wedding gown, if you want to take pre-wedding photos inside the temple, you may consider to wear Kimono (和服) or a causal promo dress.
