I had an amazing wedding job in London this May, and I must say it is the highlight of all my overseas wedding jobs this year. My client chose the Bovey Castle as the venue of their wedding ceremony, which is one of the most fantasized and dreamt of location for a wedding!
We got on the train from Paddington Station in London to Exeter St. Davids Station, and took the hotel fleet for nearly three hours to get to the castle. When I arrived, I was amazed: wow, what a place! The environment was better than one could ever imagine! Even the drive from the gate to the castle would fill one with excitement and anticipation because of the elegant architecture of the castle surrounded by stunning landscaped gardens and a magnificent golf course. You just can’t keep your eyes off the beautiful landscape!
After a lovely night’s rest, we got ready to go to client’s room and started to take some snapshots. The room was a spacious suite with a balcony facing the beautiful garden, with the sun shining in at a lovely angle – it was the perfect time for me to snap some shots!
The wedding ceremony was held in a beautifully decorated English-style room at the ground level, and we spent the whole day taking pics at the beautiful castle. I’ve taken more than hundreds of pictures as every little thing looked so unique and beautiful – I just regret that the time was too limited for me to take even more pictures.
The following two days were filled with sightseeing plans around London and a short trip to Cambridge and Windsor. This is definitely a trip to remember!
