Every girl must have thought about what their dream wedding would be like, and many must have dreamt of walking down the aisle in a beautiful church, which is where some of the most romantic weddings are held. As marriage is a sacred and precious union between two people, its sanctity is further emphasized by having the ceremony in a church environment and atmosphere. But what if you are not a Christian or Catholic, does this mean that your church wedding dream has to be thrown out the window? Definitely not!
Candice and Ben held their wedding ceremony at Bethanie Chapel, which is one of the most popular venues for weddings. As this chapel is no longer used as a church and is now run by the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts, you can rent the chapel for your own wedding! Apart from hiring a civil celebrant, they also organized a church ceremony witnessed by a priest, which makes the wedding much more interesting and unique compared to just signing the papers. It also gives me much more to capture as a photographer, though my focus has always been, and will always be the faces of the couple and their friends and families – because it is these faces that truly express the sentiments and wonders of the big day!
